Hajj 2026: NAHCON unveils cloud-based call centre for pilgrims

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has unveiled a cloud-based call centre system to strengthen pilgrims’ welfare services while the current Hajj operations last in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This is contained in a report shared by Shafii Sani Mohammed of the NAHCON’s Information and Publication Division, among journalists.
While unveiling the facility in Makkah, NAHCON Head of ICT, Shehu Raji, stated that the system provides a two way platform to make and receive telephone calls directly from pilgrims while providing real-time monitoring of received, missed and abandoned calls through a dedicated dashboard.
He disclosed that the call centre currently operates with five active workstations with provision for expansion based on operational exigencies.
Raji assured that the call centre would continue to be improved in line with the commission’s commitment to enhancing service delivery and pilgrims’ welfare.
Following this, pilgrims are encouraged to contact the Call Centre to report issues relating to accommodation, feeding, transportation, health and other welfare concerns.
The dedicated Call Centre numbers include: +966565460059 and +966568608760.
To ensure wider awareness, the report hinted that NAHCON will commence the distribution of stickers and information cards containing the contact numbers across pilgrims’ accommodations and strategic locations in Makkah, Muna and Arafat.
The Commission said that the initiative forms part of the body’s commitment to improving service delivery and ensuring a smooth Hajj exercise for Nigerian pilgrims.
