President Bola Tinubu has approved the deployment of four newly sworn-in Federal Permanent Secretaries as part of efforts to boost governance efficiency and strengthen service delivery across key ministries and departments.
The announcement was contained in a statement released on Monday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Eno Olotu, on behalf of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
According to the statement, the deployment is in line with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and is aimed at improving policy execution, enhancing coordination among ministries, and promoting sustainable national development.
It noted that the postings followed a competitive selection process and were designed to place experienced officials in strategic positions where their expertise can be maximised.
“The President has approved the deployment of four (4) Federal Permanent Secretaries, who were earlier appointed and sworn in,” the statement read.
The affected officials include Bekearedebo Warrens, deployed to Political and Economic Affairs in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; and Dr. Kamil Shoretire, assigned to the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Others are Nkiruka Jones-Nebo, posted to the Career Management Office in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation; and Sani Aminu, deployed to Special Services in the Cabinet Affairs Office under the SGF.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees and urged them to demonstrate professionalism and accountability in their duties.
“The deployment is intended to optimise performance, strengthen inter-ministerial collaboration, and drive results-oriented leadership in line with government priorities,” the statement added.
It further emphasised the need for the new Permanent Secretaries to uphold efficiency and support the Federal Government’s development objectives.
