Stanbic IBTC to Release Audited Half-Year 2026 Results by August 29

Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has announced that it will publish its audited financial statements for the half year ended June 30, 2026, on or before August 29, 2026, following regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
In a notification to Nigerian Exchange Regulation Limited (NGX RegCo) and the investing public, the financial services group said its Board of Directors had resolved to continue its long-standing practice of subjecting its half-year financial statements to an external audit.
According to the company, the audited half-year 2026 financial statements will first be submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria for approval before being released to the market.
Stanbic IBTC explained that the decision is in line with Section 1.1.3 of the Nigerian Exchange Issuers’ Rules, which requires listed companies that elect to audit their quarterly or interim financial statements to file such accounts within 60 calendar days after the end of the reporting period.
The company stated that it expects to meet the regulatory deadline by publishing the audited results on or before August 29, 2026.
Stanbic IBTC also confirmed that its closed period, which commenced on June 1, 2026, remains in effect and will continue until 24 hours after the audited half-year financial statements are released to the market.
During the closed period, directors, senior management, insiders and other individuals with access to material non-public information are prohibited from trading in the company’s shares in accordance with the Nigerian Exchange’s post-listing requirements.
The continuation of the closed period is intended to safeguard market integrity by preventing insider trading ahead of the publication of the company’s financial results.
Investors will be watching the release of Stanbic IBTC’s audited half-year earnings for insights into the group’s financial performance and outlook amid evolving economic conditions in Nigeria.
