This incident completely locked the corridor, forcing many travelers to spend the night on the highway or trek long distances to escape the standstill.

The severe backlog has crippled movement across major border routes and spilled deeply into primary Lagos networks.

Heavy congestion remains at a standstill around Kara Bridge, Berger, OPIC, and the Long Bridge.

According to reports, the stretch of the expressway from the 7Up area to Berger was completely blocked as of the time of filing this report.
