The stock climbed from N148.00 to N162.80, sharing the top spot on the gainers’ chart with Royal Exchange Plc, which also advanced 10.00 percent during the session.
Top Gainers

The strong performance by NGX Group contributed to a modest recovery in the broader market.
The NGX All-Share Index (ASI) gained 0.10 percent to close at 243,299.24 points, while equity market capitalisation increased by approximately N160.26 billion to N157.747 trillion.
Trading activity, however, was mixed.
Investors exchanged 428.97 million shares worth N20.52 billion in 54,592 deals, compared with 552.87 million shares valued at N25.78 billion in 45,614 deals at the close of the previous trading session.
While trading volume and value declined, the number of deals increased by nearly 20 percent, indicating sustained investor participation.
Elsewhere in the market, John Holt Plc topped the losers’ chart after declining 10.00 percent, while Ellah Lakes Plc, DAAR Communications Plc, Regal Insurance Plc and Learn Africa Plc also recorded notable losses.
Monday’s session suggests investors selectively returned to equities after last week’s broad-based decline. NGX Group’s advance to the daily price limit not only made it one of the day’s best-performing stocks but also provided important support for the broader market as buying interest resurfaced in selected counters.
