A woman has shared how she handled a tense situation with her husband after he shouted at her in front of his friends, before later expecting intimacy that same night.

According to her account, she remained quiet while they were in the car and became more distant when they got home. Her husband, however, reportedly acted as though nothing had happened and tried to pull her close.

She said she declined his advances, explaining that she was not in the mood, but he accused her of punishing him. She subsequently went to the children’s room and slept there.

Husband later apologises after repeated advances

The woman said her husband was quieter the following day and appeared to notice her reaction without forcing the situation.

She said that evening, he transferred money for an item she had requested months earlier and sent her the receipt.

According to her, he attempted to initiate intimacy again that night, but she asked him to wait. She said he did not argue and instead lay down facing the wall.

The woman said the situation eventually changed the following morning when her husband apologised to her.

She wrote, “The morning after, he apologised properly before I even woke up fully.”
