A Nigerian lady identifed as @TDeisine on X (formely Twitter) has shared a heartbreaking account of how 10 naira left her starving , which has gone viral online.
In a widely circulated post, the lady disclosed that she was the sole Catholic in her neighbourhood.

Meanwhile, she returned home from church, while her neighbours had already set out for church.
According to the lady, she was out of garri and resorted to prepare rice which she discovered her matches had finished.
The X user noted that she could have purchased items from other shops while heading home, but she was not familiar with the shop owners, whereas the nearby shops were closed.
As a result, she stayed until 1.p.m. for her neighbours to return from church and borrowed matches to turn on her stove.
