Ijebu North Students Rally Behind ₦10 Million Solar Gift to Ijebu Igbo General Hospital

Students’ Union leaders across Ijebu North have thrown their weight behind a ₦10 million solar energy project that will power the Ijebu Igbo General Hospital, a gift donated to mark the birthday of Comrade Daniel Joseph.

In a commendation issued on behalf of the Students’ Union leaders and the wider student community in the area, Comrade Daniel Joseph described the gesture as far more than a birthday celebration. He called it “a meaningful investment in the wellbeing of our community.”

Comrade Joseph said students and young people, as part of the community, understand how much functional and reliable facilities matter. He noted that improved power supply at the General Hospital will contribute positively to healthcare delivery and to the wellbeing of students, families and residents who depend on the facility.

The student leader praised the decision to turn a personal milestone into a gift for the people, saying it leaves behind a project of lasting value. In a goodwill message, he prayed that Almighty God would continue to bless the celebrant with good health, wisdom and greater opportunities to serve humanity.

“Happy Birthday, Sir,” he added. “May your generosity inspire more community-focused initiatives.”

He closed the statement with a prayer for the nation and the region: “God bless Nigeria. God bless Ogun State. God bless Ijebu North.”

Comrade Joseph is the Director of Media of the 12th Students’ Union Government of AAPOLY.

Apples Bite International Magazine will follow the project as it develops.
