A Kano magistrate’s court has remanded Aliyu Nasir over the alleged stabbing to death of Magaji Dalladi and the stabbing of another man, Aminu Nura, who is reportedly receiving treatment.
Nasir was arraigned before Magistrate Abdulaziz Mahmud of Magistrates’ Court No. 15, Nomansland, Kano, on charges of murder and causing grievous bodily harm.
The prosecution counsel, Auwal Sani Dandago, presented the defendant before the court, which ordered his remand in a correctional facility pending government advice.
The court adjourned the case until November 12, 2026.
According to reports, the incident occurred along Sokoto Road in Kano following an alleged disagreement over driving space.
Nasir was accused of stabbing Dalladi and Nura after Dalladi allegedly failed to give him enough space while they were driving.
Dalladi died from the incident, while Nura was reportedly taken for medical treatment.
The allegations are yet to be determined by the court.
