BBNaija Set for Season 11 as Audition Plans Unveiled

Organisers of Big Brother Naija have confirmed that the hit reality television show will return for its 11th season, sparking excitement among fans across the country.

The announcement was made on Tuesday via the show’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, where a teaser video was posted with the caption: “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer?” A follow-up message “It’s back. Auditions coming soon!” further hinted at the imminent start of the audition process.

The forthcoming season comes on the heels of Season 10, which premiered on July 26, 2025, and featured 29 housemates competing for a grand prize of ₦150 million.

Season 10 introduced several notable changes to the format. The Head of House challenge was modified to include two stages—one held on Sundays to determine temporary leadership and another on Mondays that could reshuffle the outcome. Contestants who placed last in the challenge were automatically put up for possible eviction.

New twists also spiced up the show, including the “Bag of Big Twists,” managed by the Head of House, and the “red telephone,” which delivered surprise instructions from Biggie. Additionally, the “Influential Player of the Week” segment was introduced to encourage more strategic gameplay among housemates.

At the end of the season, Imisi Ayanwale emerged as the winner with 42.8 percent of the votes, beating other finalists such as Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella, and Kaybobo.

Her win adds to the list of previous champions, including Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna, and Ilebaye.

With Season 11 on the horizon, fans are now eagerly anticipating details on audition dates, entry requirements, and the new twists that could define the next chapter of the popular reality show.
