Cybersecurity Startup GRC Pro Lab© Launches AI-Powered SaaS Platform to Close the GRC Talent Experience Gap

GRC Pro Lab©, an Irish-based cybersecurity training startup, today announces the official launch of its SaaS platform, designed to bridge one of the most critical gaps in the cybersecurity industry: practical, real-world experience.
Now live at grcprolab.com, the platform provides hands-on, realistic, scenario-based training for governance, risk and compliance (GRC) analysts, IT auditors, and information security professionals, with the aim of transforming how practitioners prepare for real engagements.
Across the cybersecurity ecosystem, a persistent gap exists where professionals pass GRC certification exams but struggle in real audit environments. Employers continue to report the same issue with candidates lacking the ability to analyze evidence, exercise judgment, and produce structured audit findings. GRC Pro Lab© was built to solve exactly that.
GRC Pro Lab© replaces passive learning with active simulation, where instead of watching videos or answering multiple-choice questions, users are placed inside simulated cybersecurity engagements across six domains: IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Dependency Mapping (ITDM), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), Risk Management, and Audit Documentation.
Each scenario includes realistic evidence files, full company policy documents with embedded audit gaps, client-style briefings, and structured audit workflows built to enable users to analyze, investigate, and produce findings using the CCCEE framework, which is the professional standard for audit reporting.
At the core of the platform are three integrated AI tools (in premium mode) powered by Claude (Anthropic). These AI tools role-play a senior colleague and a simulated audit client, respectively. This allows users of the platform the opportunity to defend and articulately communicate their findings while being guided in the right direction.
According to Joshua Seth Ahiatsi (Reign), CEO & Co-Founder of GRC Pro Lab©, “Every GRC and audit professional I’ve mentored hits the same wall. They can pass the exam, but freeze when handed real evidence. GRC Pro Lab exists to close that gap. We built the environment we wish we had when we were starting out.”
In a joint statement, the founders added: “There are incredible young learners in Africa and indeed globally, with amazing cybersecurity talent. Our mission is to build and surface that talent, by giving GRC practitioners a credential of demonstrated skill, not just a certificate of attendance.” – Joshua Seth Ahiatsi (Reign) & Blessing Ebare, Co-Founders of GRC Pro Lab©.
For context, the global GRC platform market is projected to exceed $64 billion by 2028 (source: custom market insights, with demand for GRC and audit professionals continuing to outpace available supply. At the same time, Africa remains underserved in practical cybersecurity training infrastructure. GRC Pro Lab© enters the market as one of the few platforms globally offering scenario-based GRC and audit training, evidence-driven learning, AI-assisted feedback, and regionally accessible pricing for both African and global cybersecurity practitioners.
