House of Reps member cries, begs for fifth term + Video

The Member representing Magumeri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Audu Mustapha Ganga, has pleaded with his constituents to endorse his fifth term bid, crying in the process.
The lawmaker, who has occupied the position for 16 years, cried as pleaded with his constituents to renew his mandate.
Ganga said in a viral video: “You know I am from a poor background, but I was able to do many things for you.
“I promise to give you better representation if given another chance.”
No fewer than six aspirants have purchased the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to unseat Ganga.
Reacting to his appeal, Abubakar Hassan said: “You now know that you came from a poor background after disrespecting your leaders.
“You know the governor will not spare you.”
Other people from his constituency have also reacted to the appeal.
Mu’azu Hassan said: “It’s not easy providing food for the family.
“No food for lazy man.”
Lawan Modu said: “Hon Ganga has impacted the lives of youth and women through empowerment and jobs creation.
“Shading tears is not a sign of weakness.”
Muhammad Abba Kura said: “You are shedding crocodile tears.”
