Pastor Sarah Omakwu advises women to prioritise kindness when choosing life partner

Cleric Sarah Omakwu has advised women to pay close attention to a man’s character, particularly his capacity for kindness, before committing to marriage.
Speaking during a sermon, Pastor Omakwu argued that kindness is one of the most important qualities to look for in a potential spouse.
She specifically criticised the practice of some men demanding the return of gifts they voluntarily gave during a relationship after a breakup, describing such behaviour as a sign of poor character.
According to the pastor, the way a person behaves during and after a relationship can reveal important aspects of their personality and values.
She maintained that women should avoid marrying individuals who display bitterness, pettiness, or a lack of generosity, stressing that kindness often plays a crucial role in the success and stability of a marriage.
His words in part …
“As a woman, please don’t marry someone who is not kind, the type of person who goes back to collect the things they gave their girlfriend after a breakup. A man will date a woman and when they break up the man will ask her to give him everything back. Anybody who goes back to collect everything they gave when they were dating, I don’t know what to say. That is a low-grade, uncultured, uncouth man who God delivered you from. Don’t marry somebody who is not kind.”
