Unlike previous sessions that produced mixed performances across the ETF market, Monday’s trading saw each of the reported funds close higher, reflecting broad-based strength across the segment.

The gains in NEWGOLD were particularly notable with the fund accounting for the largest absolute price increase of the session. SIAMLETF40 also posted a strong advance, while VSPBONDETF, MERVALUE and VETINDETF ended the day with moderate gains.

The broader equity market also finished in positive territory.

The NGX All-Share Index (ASI) rose 0.10 percent to 243,299.24 points, while equity market capitalisation increased by approximately N160.26 billion to N157.747 trillion, supported by selective buying in key equities.

Monday’s ETF performance points to renewed investor interest across the segment, with gains extending beyond a single fund. NEWGOLD’s sharp advance led the market, while positive price movements across the other reported ETFs underscored broad buying interest at the start of the trading week.
