Nollywood actress and social media influencer, Nimmy Ferrari, has reportedly died just days before she was scheduled to celebrate the completion of her new home.
The news of her death was announced by her colleague, Oluwakemisola Apesin, popularly known as Kemity, in a post shared on Instagram.
Kemity expressed grief over the actress’ passing, writing: “Everybody is back home, we left only you, IDERA Nimmy Ferrari. It is well.”
Nimmy’s death has sparked reactions among fans and colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
There have been claims circulating on social media that the actress recently underwent surgery for fibroids and subsequently developed complications. However, the claim has not been independently confirmed, and her family has yet to publicly disclose the circumstances surrounding her death.
The actress had reportedly recently completed the construction of her new house and was making preparations for a housewarming ceremony expected to take place in the coming days.
Videos circulating online showed a large gathering at the property, with workers seen preparing a grave within the compound for her burial.

Meanwhile, the death report comes amid another false death rumour involving Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri.
Kadiri recently dismissed reports claiming that she had died or been involved in an accident, assuring her fans that she was alive and safe.
The actress said she discovered that several social media accounts had been spreading false reports about her death and urged members of the public to report the accounts responsible for the misinformation.
