Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has expressed regret over her decision to publicly disclose her romantic relationship with Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.
The actress made this known during an interview with Oyinmomo TV, where she reflected on her past relationship and acknowledged that some aspects of her private life would have been better kept away from the public.
Speaking about the reason for their breakup, Sindodo said she would rather not discuss the matter, describing it as a long story.
“It’s a long story, and I’d rather not go into it,” she said.
The actress admitted that she now believes keeping relationships private can sometimes be the better choice.
According to her, she had no reason to hide the relationship at the time because she believed people would eventually find out.
She explained that she decided to make MC Oluomo’s identity public because he treated her well and was kind to her.
However, Sindodo said she now regrets making the relationship public, noting that she admires colleagues who have successfully kept their romantic affairs private.
She said: “Sometimes, it’s better to keep things private. I envy my colleagues who kept their affairs out of the public eye.
“I regret announcing my relationship with Alhaji MC Oluomo. It wasn’t worth it. He was very good to me and treated me well, which is why I published his name. But I shouldn’t have.”
The actress did not disclose further details about what led to the end of the relationship.
